Every month, Readington Recreation publishes a newsletter to inform the public of upcoming events within the community. The newsletter is distributed throughout the school system. If you do not receive this newsletter, it will be available on-line for download.

BEFORE GOING TO ANY FIELDS PLEASE CHECK WITH COACH OR CALL 908-534-9752 TO MAKE SURE ALL FIELDS ARE OPEN.  DUE TO LARGE AMOUNTS OF RAIN MANY FIELDS MAY TAKE A DAY OR TWO TO DRY OUT BEFORE THEY CAN BE USED.   WEEKDAYS FIELD CLOSERS WILL BE CALLED BY 4:30 PM AND SATURDAYS WILL BE CALLED AT 7:30 AM.

SUMMER CAMP  Registration is on going until June 1st.  Please find attached calendar but keep in mind there could be last minute changes.
Trip registration is in May.

SPRING RECREATION SOCCER.   There is a few openings in the Kindergarten and 1st & 2nd grades only.   Drop off form in office asap.
Soccer begins on Saturday April 26th at Summer Road Park

READINGTON‘S MEMORIAL DAY PARADE                        
Date: Monday, May  26,  2014   Time: 10:30 A.M.  Place:  Main Street to Municipal Building. 
The parade will end at the Municipal Building with a Memorial Ceremony followed by a family day in Pickell Park with music, rides for children and free lunch refreshments.  We are looking for volunteers: to march in parade-scouts or clubs, veterans, etc., bring their classic cars, convertibles and create your own floats and help cook and serve lunch.  If you would like to become involved please email: Readingtonparade@aol.com.                                                                                         
Contest on Main Street  for Decorated Homes or Business for Memorial Day Parade Any building or home on Main Street can decorate their business or home and enter a contest to win a VIPs dinner for two from Chef Paul of La Casa Bianca for best decorated place. The judging will be done by Stanton Holly Trail on Sunday May 26th

Lacrosse

Lacrosse is making a comeback in Readington Township!

The fastest game on 2 feet!
Readington Township Recreation is currently seeking coaches for the upcoming spring Lacrosse season for both boys and girls teams. We will be running a summer coaches clinic to teach the game of Lacrosse and how to teach the game to the kids. The clinic will be run by the coaching staff at Hunterdon Central High School. If you are interested in coaching, give the Recreation Department a call at 908-534-9752 or email your contact information to rec@readingtontwp-nj.org.

We are looking for coaches for:
2nd - 8th grade boys
3rd - 8th grade girls

KEEPING OUR PARKS AND STREETS CLEAN

Readington is going green. In the coming months, recycling bins will be placed in our parks and around the community. We ask for your assistance in recycling and keeping our parks clean.
